Academic Learning Center students strive for higher attendance and are more confident in their ability to participate in regular classroom lessons. The Academic Learning Center's goal is to assist children, through the school and teachers' expertise, toward improving their academic performance.
Academic Learning Center students consistently grow in reading and math areas and show improved self-esteem and executive function skills. Academic Learning Center is a separate organization from the school system and depends on private funding from foundations, businesses and
individuals to run its program. Every dollar spent is carefully allocated
to make the best use of available funds.

Our mission is to provide students with free tutoring in their neighborhood schools and to lift them higher in academic and self esteem areas essential for school success and beyond.

The Academic Learning Center will help increase academic achievement and confidence in children to ensure their future success in a global economy; we will provide services in a nurturing environment and foster community partnerships.
