Waylon's Story
“Since the start of school, Waylon struggled with reading. He struggled mostly to stay interested and focused on what he was reading. Throughout the year of having extra tutoring provided by The Academic Learning Center, Waylon has thrived and learned how to take his time and stay focused. He is always excited and go to ALC, learn and spend extra time with his awesome teachers. Not once has he come home complaining that he didn’t want to go back the next week. He went from never wanting to pick up a book to reading a new series and almost finishing it!!! Waylon had the best possible experience with this program and would definitely love for it to continue. We’d love for it to continue coming back year to year for kids that need that extra push.”
